Why should YOU take a business class?
1) Business courses and other electives are a great way to figure out what you like before moving on to secondary education and work experience. The best thing you can do for yourself is take as many electives as possible!
2) Think you might major in business? A major in business will require you to complete the "Business Core" .... this means even if you are interesting in Marketing, you will still need to complete Accounting courses.
3) Taking business courses at the high school level will make your college classes easier!
4) Business courses teach skills that are important to EVERYONE, even if you aren't planning to go into a business field. EVERY person will need to make a budget, and EVERY person can benefit from being a more-informed consumer.
